Thermocouple Bare Wire

Thermocouple bare wire refers to the uninsulated, raw wire used to form the sensing junction of a thermocouple, which measures temperature by generating a voltage based on the temperature difference between two dissimilar metal alloys. Unlike extension wire, bare wire is designed for direct exposure to the measured environment and is used to create the thermocouple itself.
